Commerce dedicated to attracting and retaining jobs and businesses
for San Francisco.

SFCED’s
Mission
The
San Francisco Center for Economic Development works collaboratively
with the city and county of San Francisco and other like-minded
organizations to promote a thriving economic climate by attracting
and retaining businesses in San Francisco and promoting a business
friendly environment. We have the information, resources, and relationships
to assist you in your location selection decision.
The
SFCED has played a vital role in a number of firms locating in San
Francisco and will attract over 16,500 new jobs to the city by 2008.
We are in daily contact with real estate brokers and business leaders
and are up to date on current real estate and business trends. We
proactively market San Francisco to potential new businesses. We
will work with firms in any industry and are currently targeting
firms in the life sciences, information technology, financial/business
services, media/entertainment, international and clean green industries.
