The The Small Business Advisory Council (SBAC), first established in 2003, is co-chaired by Marian Costello, Vice President of Scoma’s Restaurant, and Gwen Kaplan, Principal of Ace Mailing. Since its inception the SBAC has been the voice of small business for the Chamber.

The goal of the Chamber's Small Business Advisory Council is to provide education, advocacy and business-development connections for small-business members of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce has a long-standing reputation for advocating for small business, particularly when it comes to helping these companies make connections.
