Supervisor Dufty at the Chamber – Chamber members heard from San Francisco Supervisor and declared candidate for Mayor Bevan Dufty Wednesday at Supes for Lunch. “We need to grow this economy,” Dufty said as he discussed the need for economic development incentives for high-growth sectors such as digital media and biotech. topstory Chamber Members Dive into LinkedIn – Chamber members heard from Perkville founder and former product manger for LinkedIn, Suni Saha, and other social media experts Thursday at

the Chamber's Business Success Series. “People buy from people they trust, like and know,” said Saha as he highlighted strategies for networking and growing sales through LinkedIn. The second in a series of sessions focused on social media, the program provided hands-on tips for finding referrals, generating leads and tapping into the 65 million people using LinkedIn. Healthy San Francisco Reporting Deadline and Rate Increase – Businesses are required to submit mandatory 2009 Health Care Security Ordinance (HCSO) annual reporting forms by Friday, April 30. The city's Office of Labor Standards Enforcement announced that the 2011health care expenditure rate for large employers (100+ employees) will increase from $1.96 to $2.06/hour and from $1.31 to $1.37/hour for medium-sized employers (20-99 employees).
