Supervisor Dufty at the Chamber – Chamber members heard from San Francisco Supervisor and declared candidate for Mayor Bevan Dufty Wednesday at Supes for Lunch. “We need to grow this economy,” Dufty said as he discussed the need for economic development incentives for high-growth sectors such as digital media and biotech. Healthy San Francisco Reporting Deadline and Rate Increase – Businesses are required to submit mandatory 2009 Health Care Security Ordinance (HCSO) annual reporting forms by Friday, April 30. The city's Office of Labor Standards Enforcement announced that the 2011health care expenditure rate for large employers (100+ employees) will increase from $1.96 to $2.06/hour and from $1.31 to $1.37/hour for medium-sized employers (20-99 employees).
