[Southwest Airlines Corporate Community Affairs Manager, Kim Delevett and Supervisor Eric Mar at Supes for Lunch.]

Supervisor Mar at the Chamber – Chamber members heard from Supervisor Eric Mar Wednesday at Supes for Lunch. “It’s going to be a very complicated November ballot,” Mar said when discussing Public Defender Jeff Adachi's pension reform measure. Supervisor Mar discussed the approved $6.5 billion city budget, charter amendments on the November ballot, and proposed developments such as a Target in the shopping center at Masonic Ave. and Geary Blvd. “I think Target would revitalize the area,” Mar said as he gave initial support for the project as long as it meets community concerns. The Chamber urges its members to learn more and add your company’s name to the growing list of California businesses opposed the Jobs Tax Initiative. Read more
