The mission of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors group is to effectively promote membership, programs, events and the overall agenda of the Chamber to new and prospective members, while encouraging current members to maximize their membership. Ambassador members are volunteer liaisons between members and the Chamber staff who commit to attending Chamber events and monthly meetings.

Ambassadors commit to attending monthly meetings in order to keep abreast Chamber initiatives. After signing an Ambassador Commitment Form and attending three consecutive meetings, Ambassadors are considered official and are able to begin volunteering at events.

This group traditionally meets every third Wednesday of the month in the Chamber boardroom from 4-5:30 pm. The meetings include Chamber updates and news, as well as the benefit of professional development classes, speakers and networking opportunities.
