The Office of Supervisor David Campos, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and local business and merchant associations are pleased to present the District 9 Neighborhood Business Summit. This event will bring merchants together with their Supervisor and other city officials to discuss local business concerns.

The Neighborhood Merchants Summit is an excellent opportunity to meet elected and city officials, network with other merchants in District 9 and strengthen neighborhood business ties.

Attendees can expect to:

  • Hear a presentation from the Supervisor
  • Have a Question & Answer session with the Supervisor
  • Meet officials from various city departments who will have important information to distribute
  • Network with each other, city officials, community leaders and the Supervisor

Representatives from the San Francisco Police Department and other City departments and small business resource providers will also be on hand to provide information and answer specific questions.

The office of Supervisor Michela Alioto-Pier is pleased to announce the first-ever Neighborhood Business Summit in District 2. The event, co-sponsored by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with local business and neighborhood associations, will bring merchants in District 2 together with city officials and departments to discuss their concerns and issues.

District 2 merchants can expect to:

* Meet with and discuss concerns with Supervisor Alioto-Pier
* Hear important information on topics relevant to business including:
o Healthcare
+ Healthy SF
+ Health Care Security Ordinance
o Sick-leave ordinance
o Styrofoam ban / Plastic Bag Ban
o Lease negotiation strategies
* Meet with representatives from City Hall offices and the San Francisco Police Department
* Network with business owners in the community
* Speak with members of local merchant associations for information on how to leverage membership(s)

The Chamber is pleased to present the District 1 Neighborhood Merchants Summit in conjunction with Supervisor Eric Mar, local businesses and neighborhood associations to bring merchants together with their supervisor and city officials to discuss merchant specific issues.

Supervisor Mar will make a presentation and conduct a question-and -answer session. Additional presentations will be scheduled on relevant small business topics. Merchants will also have a chance to speak with representatives from city departments and small business resource providers who will also be present.

In addition to hearing relevant presentations, the Neighborhood Merchants Summit is an excellent opportunity to network with other merchants in district 1 and strengthen neighborhood ties.
