CityTrip is the Chamber's annual visit of a delegation of business, government, civic and nonprofit leaders to a city from which San Francisco can learn about best practices that may have applications locally. CityTrips spur the imagination and provide excellent contacts with thought leaders and doers who can be resources to San Francisco.

The administration in Washington has been in place for a year and the time could not be better for the San Francisco Chamber in cooperation with city leaders to visit the Capitol.

Delegates will meet with Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, our Congressional representatives – and key members of the new administration to advocate for interests key to San Francisco.

Highlights include a briefing at the U.S. Trade Office, a Congressional Reception at the California Transit Association, Federal Assistance and a tour of DC's Homeland Security Operation and joint meetings with 200 delegates from the Los Angeles Chamber
of Commerce.
