The Chamber Health Advantage Membership Plan (CHAMP) brings Chamber members – particularly small to mid-size businesses – the expertise, access to providers and highly individualized, personal service that you can trust and that can add savings to the bottom line. Essentially, the Chamber Health Advantage "plan does the shopping for you." By bundling services and offering the expertise needed to negotiate the often-bewildering health plan marketplace, the Chamber's is making it easier to find the best option for your business at the best price. 2009 will see some upgraded benefits to the CHAMP, including a new, dental and vision offering and assistance with city implemented ordinances, including the Health Care Security Ordinance and the Transit Mandate. Chamber members enrolled in the plan will also have access to free, premium-only Section 125 plans, custom employee enrollment and education materials and an exclusive website. Members will be able to choose between fully-insured PPO, HMO, high-deductible and self-funded medical, dental and vision plans offered by California’s major carriers. The newly added dental insurance offering includes 3 unique plan designs. These plans include many industry leading enhancements at discounted prices if purchased through the CHAMP program. The vision insurance offering includes both a VSP vision plan and an EyeMed vision plan, two highly recognized insurance companies.
