
San Francisco 3-1-1 Customer Service Center
In 2007, the City and County of San Francisco activated the 311 Customer Service Center to provide San Franciscans with ready access to information and service to local government. Before 3-1-1, there were over 2,300 different telephone numbers for local government services. Now you only need two: 911 for emergencies and 3-1-1 for everything else.
3-1-1 provides around-the-clock service which offers assistance in over 145 languages as well as TTY access.
For any customer service request, you should be provided a tracking number by the 3-1-1 staff so that you can follow up on your particular issue at a later time.
